Our Home Remodeling Process
Our work process is divided into five stages:
Discovery
Our process starts with an email, phone call or video conference where we can find out more about your project. From there we set up a site visit to take measurements and understand the existing conditions. After that we discuss your design ideas including any inspirational colors, pictures or ideas that you’ve accumulated for the project. At this point we have a rough framework to assess an accurate budget range and your budget parameters and can create an estimate. This is the beginning of our exciting journey to your home remodel and increased enjoyment and love for your home.
Design
We guide you through the design process by utilizing our team of Architects, Interior designers, Cabinet designers and material experts. Our architects or Space planners will help create the best design for the space utilizing space planning, utility planning and flow so that you can have a space that you will love for years to come. The Interior Designers we work with will help clarify aesthetic design, select finishes and fixtures. Our team of vendors will also help you select the right materials for the project. During this process, we provide you with our Revive Works Remodeling Kitchen & Bath Product and Design Checklist. The checklist helps aggregate and clarify all necessary fixtures, appliances and finishings decisions for kitchen and Bath projects.
Once all the product design decisions are complete, the work scope is finalized and all our subcontractors have submitted their bids, we can create the Final Fixed bid. At this point the updated project budget is finalized and a work contract is signed.
Planning
We determine the estimated time of arrival for all building materials, fixtures, appliances, finishings and create a project timeline including: Start date, subcontractor scheduling, inhouse labor allocation, permitting, material and tool staging, worksite access and hours, employee bathroom usage and waste removal plan.
We create a detailed project management timeline for your project and schedule a concrete start date.
We order all materials that need to be ordered prior to start date, book in all Subcontractors and apps for the necessary permits.
Construction
Set up our vertical dust containment system, floor protection, material and tool staging
Demolition, Site Prep & Waste Removal
Framing, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing work and neccessary Rough In Permitting
Drywall & Painting
Cabinet & Countertop installation
Flooring & Trim
Appliance installation
Finish Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing work and necessary finish permitting
Punchlist (We walk through with you to assess any necessary changes)
Project Close Out & One Year Warranty Certificate issued to client
Warranties & Maintenance
Revive Works Remodeling will go the extra mile for you. Our 1-Year warranty means that we will address any problems with our workmanship in a timely fashion. At the end of every project, we also provide a dedicated folder with all your warranties compiled from every manufacturer used in your project. We want you to enjoy your home worry-free.
