NE Wall Ave Home Remodel

Our North Wall Ave project was a craftsman style remodel of an original sears catalogue home over 100 years old! We converted the two bedroom upstairs into a three bedroom area, installed hardwood floors, removed the chimney, structurally reinforced and rebuilt the stairway with new oak treads and cedar balusters and acid stripped and refurbished the original 100 year old handrail and newels for reinstallation. Other upgrades included custom high energy efficiency windows, electrical addictions, new insulation, weather proofing, lead paint containment, bifold and panel doors as well as and a barn door crafted from a deconstructed barn. The vision was to keep with the spirit of the craftsman style while giving the home a fresh new look and adding home value through the addition of the third room.
