Revive Works Remodeling COVID19 Safety Protocol

Revive Works Remodeling (RWR) Continues to serve you during this time with our COVID Safety Protocols incorporating the evolving guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and state, county and local government guidelines to combat the spread of COVID-19. We have instituted our step by step COVID Safety Protocol designed specifically to safeguard our clients (many of whom are in the highest risk age bracket) and their families, our subcontractors, vendors as well as the RWR staff and their families. Due to the nature of the pandemic we are all facing, we will be using these stringent evolving COVID Safety Protocols for the forseeable future to try and prevent spread of the COVID19 virus. We thank you for your patience in these challenging times and we hope to serve your needs for many years to come under brighter circumstances.

In this difficult time, many children across America do not have enough to eat. There are some projections that estimate up to 18,000,000 children could experience hunger in the coming months.  In trying to help in our own small way, Revive Works Remodeling will be donating $35 to the NO Kid Hungry cause for every $1,000 earned by our company, starting on June 1st of 2020 onwards.  If you would like to find out more about the organization, you can simply click the link above.

Our Step by Step process

1. RWR will receive a Request for Quote from client (Click this link, Request for Quote and tell us a little bit about your project) and an RW representative will email or telephone to set up a time to perform a video consultation/conference call using Facebook Messenger or Zoom to discuss the project and see the location.

2. RWR will send a dedicated project manager with an N95 mask out to conduct a site visit and take measurements. If the client wishes to be present to discuss the project, the project manager will stay a minimum 10' distance from the client and we firmly ask our clients to do the same. If the client does not wish to be present, we can take measurements and photographs and then communicate via video conferencing after the site visit to clarify any questions or needs. The client will be responsible for leaving a gate/door unlocked for access to the proposed site area during the site visit.

3. RWR will send a Bid Proposal via email inclusive of any necessary additional photographs or information regarding the project.

4. Upon acceptance of the bid by the client, a finalized contract will be emailed by RWR, for the client to sign, photograph and return via email. The client can pay the project down payment by bank transfer (utilizing the Zelle or Venmo Ap) or mailed check, avoiding any risk of exposure through contact.

5. Upon receipt of down payment, RW will order the materials online and have them delivered directly to the project location. This step avoids any unnecessary contact at building supply stores. Any items needed outside of the initial online material order will be procured using the "Curbside pickup" process to eleminate any contact as the items are dropped next to the pickup vehicle. Subcontractors will be encouraged to avoid all contact with clients or RW employees and will converse using video conferencing methods.

6. During the execution of the project, RWR will provide a lockbox (The client to provide a key) so that the workers can enter the premises to work. Our craftsmen will be instructed to stay a minimum 6ft apart and wear personal protective equipment including gloves and masks. We will also have a dedicated hand washing station for each project. The house key and lockbox will be wiped down with alcohol wipes or 70% Isopropyl alcohol at the end of each work day. To promote our clients' safety, we ask the client to not touch the tools, materials or surfaces at the jobsite until a few days after the project is completed, unless the client is wearing disposable gloves that will be removed upon leaving the worksite.

7. RWR will execute the project with daily or weekly progress reports (As requested by the client) delivered via email or telephone.

8. Upon project completion, the client will perform a walkthrough with the project manager digitally, using video conferencing to assure that everything is completed as per the project scope.

9. The client can pay the final project balance by bank transfer (utilizing the Zelle or Venmo Ap) or mailed check. The received payment signature on the final contract will be emailed to the client upon receipt of payment.

Due to the pent-up demand for remodeling needs and services over the last few months of quarantining and the extended wait times for materials, digital communication challenges and staffing shortages, it is best to book any projects 3-8 months in advance of when you would like them completed.

Important Consideration #1: Material ordering has been affected due to both staffing shortages both in the supply chain within the U.S. and internationally. Unfortunately, this may result in longer wait times for certain shipped items which can impact both project start dates and projected project completion timelines.

Important Consideration # 2: Due to the Pandemic, some permitting services for residential alterations and additions are temporarily offline. This may change on a week to week basis as the Building Development Services Bureau reacts to the current situation and the Phase One Re-opening begins.

Important Consideration #3: Due to the COVID pandemic and in the interest of protecting our staff, we do not allow more than 2 craftspeople at a time on any given project, in a few cases, depending on the size of the project, this has the potential to slow project completion timelines.

Important Consideration #4: If there are any additional measures that will make our clients feel safer or improve our COVID Safety Protocols, please let us know and we will work to incorporate them into our operating procedure.
