Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline the scope, structure, and expectations of the Healthy Home Lite – Maintenance Program offered by Revive Works Remodeling.

1. Program Overview

The Healthy Home Lite – Maintenance Program is a subscription service designed to provide quarterly, proactive upkeep of your home’s essential systems and safety items. The goal is to maintain your home in good working order, not to perform deferred maintenance or large repair projects.

Membership includes:

● 4 visits per year (one each quarter)

● Automatic dryer vent cleaning once each year

● Replacement of standard air filters (included)

● All other filters (water, refrigerator, etc.) billed at cost or supplied by the homeowner

● Priority scheduling for additional repairs or projects

● 10% discount on approved handyman add-on projects

2. Service Scope

This program covers basic, routine maintenance tasks to help keep your home safe and functional. Examples include:

● Replacing HVAC air filters (standard filters included, various sizes, limited to 1” thickness)

● Replacing Hoodvent Filters

● Checking/replacing smoke alarm and CO detector batteries

● Cleaning dryer vents (once each year)

● Replacing Refrigerator water filter

● Replacing Sink water filters

● Replacing light bulbs (owner-provided unless arranged otherwise)

● Cleaning exhaust fan covers (bathroom/kitchen)

● Lubricating door hinges or locks

● Visual inspection for weatherproofing needs

● Installation of annual outdoor hose/faucet covers (standard cover size included)

Exclusions:

This program does not cover remodels, renovations, deferred maintenance, or work requiring licensed specialty trades (HVAC/, roofing, major plumbing/electrical). Emergency or same-day service is not included. Material costs (other than included air filters) are billed separately at cost.

3. Membership Fees & Payment

● $175 per month

● Payments are auto-billed monthly

● Memberships require a 12-month commitment and are non-cancellable during that period

● Unused quarterly visits do not roll over

4. Scheduling & Visits

● Members receive 4 scheduled visits per year

● Visits are scheduled approximately one month in advance

● Reminder notifications are sent one week prior to and the day before each appointment

● Any add-on handyman projects must be requested at the time of scheduling so they can be quoted and arranged for the same day as the maintenance visit (with 10% discount on labor)

● Revive Works Remodeling reserves the right to adjust visit dates due to weather, staffing, or other conflicts, with as much advance notice as possible

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

● If your home is not accessible at the time of the scheduled appointment, the visit is considered forfeited

● Members must provide at least 72 hours’ notice to reschedule an appointment

● Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 72 hours of the scheduled time are considered forfeited and will not be made up

● Forfeited visits do not roll over or get credited toward future visits

6. Initial Site Visit

The program begins with an initial site visit to document your home’s filters, appliances, and other recurring maintenance needs. This ensures all quarterly visits are tailored to your property.

7. Access & Safety

● A homeowner or authorized adult must be present unless prior arrangements are made

● All pets must be secured

● Any safety concerns (e.g., exposed wiring, structural issues) must be disclosed prior to service

● Areas receiving maintenance need to be easily accessible

8. Warranty

● Revive Works Remodeling is a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor (CCB #202119)

● All workmanship is covered by a 1-year warranty (“Exclusive Warranty”). The Exclusive Warranty will not apply and does not include any damage or defect caused by: (a) improper use of products, equipment, or systems; (b) work of other parties; and (c) wear and tear, abuse, negligence, improper maintenance or failure to perform maintenance, and/or Acts of God.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

● THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY PROVIDES OWNERS THEIR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY, AND THEIR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE DAMAGES, FOR ANY CAUSE OF ACTION ASSERTED AGAINST REVIVE WORKS REMODELING AND ITS SUBCONTRACTORS, SUPPLIERS, AFFILIATED AND RELATED ENTITIES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES AND PRINCIPALS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE OWNER SEEKS TO RECOVER FROM THEM UNDER THEORIES OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE OR ANY OTHER TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
