Our Home Remodeling Process in the Portland Area
Our work process is divided into five stages:
Discovery
We kick things off with a quick call to learn more about your project in the Portland Metro area. From there, we’ll schedule a site visit to take measurements, assess existing conditions, and go over your home design ideas—photos, colors, inspirations, anything that helps us understand your vision. This gives us the foundation to build an estimate and set realistic expectations for your house remodel.
Design
We walk you through a clear design process supported by our team of Architects, Interior Designers, Spatial planners, and vendors who help bring both function and style to your space. Whether it’s clarifying aesthetics, choosing materials, or finalizing layouts, we make sure your home remodeling project is thoughtfully planned from every angle. Once design decisions are made, we finalize the work scope to present a fixed bid and contract. No surprises! For kitchen and bath remodels, we also provide a custom checklist to simplify product and fixture selections.
Planning
During planning, we coordinate everything—material orders, schedules, permits, and labor—while building out a clear project timeline. We’ll also work with you to finalize staging areas, worksite access, porta potty placement, and waste removal plans. Once all materials are ordered and logistics are set, we lock in a start date and get your remodel officially on the books.
Construction Sequence
Once construction begins, we prep the site with dust containment, floor protection, and tool staging, then handle demolition and waste removal. From there, we move through framing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work—alongside any specialty trades—followed by inspections, drywall, painting, cabinetry, flooring, and trim. We finish up with appliance installs and final inspections and building permit close-out, we walk the space with you to address any final touch-ups, then issue your 2 year warranty on craftsmanship, so you can enjoy peace of mind long after the project wraps.
Warranties & Maintenance
Revive Works Remodeling will go the extra mile for you. Our 2-Year warranty means that we will address any problems with our workmanship in a timely fashion. We want you to enjoy your home improvement investment without stress.
